Welsh Promoted at G.A. Braun

G.A. Braun Inc. CEO and Chairman of the Board J.B. Werner recently announced the promotion of David Welsh from director of operations to president. Welsh succeeds Rick Rudmann, who will remain with the Syracuse, NY-based equipment manufacturer as a strategic adviser.

“Dave has done a tremendous job as director of operations and is well deserving of his new role as president,” Werner said. “I look forward to working closely with Dave as we continue to grow G.A. Braun.”

For the past 18 years, Welsh held the position of director of operations, responsible for managing Braun’s purchasing, assembly, fabrication, quality, logistics, safety, plant maintenance and training. Welsh holds a degree in mechanical engineering and has more than 34 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
