TRSA has developed a Supplier Partner Workshop that will take place on Tuesday, March 29, kicking off the association’s 12th Annual Legislative Conference. The program will focus on advocacy issues and policies that impact the supply chain, with a specialized workshop that will offer techniques and tools for handling difficult conversations with customers about issues like delivery troubles, labor shortages and more.

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the industry hard and caused supply chain problems, labor shortages and other strains on normal business operations. Supplier partners to the linen, uniform and facility services industry regularly find themselves in challenging dialogues with their clients. Kate Zabriskie, a skilled trainer and workshop facilitator and the founder of Business Training Works, will lead a customized workshop that addresses developing skills for having difficult conversations with your customers around such issues as price. This two-hour interactive workshop will utilize industry examples and help suppliers acquire the tools to successfully navigate difficult conversations associated with those challenges.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding Areas that Stress Customer Relationships
  • Holding Brain-Friendly Conversations
  • Showing Empathy
  • De-Escalating
