Former Superior Linen Service GM Passes On

Jimmy B. Owens, 64, Fort Gibson, OK, passed away on April 1. A linen, uniform and facility services industry veteran, Owens retired in 2019 from Superior Linen Service in Muskogee, OK, where he served as the general manager.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; two sons, Taylor and Tanner, Tulsa, OK; siblings, Kena Manfredi (Carmine), Chandler, AZ; Debi Michaels (Rod), Gilbert, AZ; Greg Joyce (Nancy), Apache Junction, AZ; and Ricky Owens, Elloy, AZ; father-in-law Jim Bruner, Sedan, KS; and brothers-in-law, Brad Bruner, Wichita, KS; and Greg Bruner (Carolyn), Topeka, KS; plus nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

A celebration of life was held on April 7 at the First Baptist Church in Fort Gibson, OK. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Owens’ name to the Fort Gibson Golf Team, 500 S.
