Break the Bias: TRSA Members, Staff Take Part in IWD Campaign

Posted March 11, 2022 at 1:50 pm

TRSA members and staff participated in International Women’s Day’s #BreakTheBias campaign on March 8. The campaign strives to create a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination where differences are valued and celebrated. Participants were encouraged to submit images striking the #BreakTheBias pose, with their arms crossed to form an “X.”

The TRSA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee and its staff liaison Salita Jones invited all TRSA members (regardless of gender) to show their support for this initiative by participating in  the association’s social media campaign for International Women’s Day (IWD). Members submitted selfies and/or group photos featuring colleagues, family members, etc. striking the “Break the Bias” pose. TRSA posted these images across its social media channels on International Women’s Day. To view the social media posts, follow TRSA on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
