Attendees of TRSA’s 108th Annual Conference representing recipients of TRSA 2021 Industry Awards will accept their honors at an Oct. 20 dinner celebrating the accolades. The Carlsbad, CA, ceremony will recognize 21 companies, as well as their divisions and staff members, for exemplary efforts in business performance, employment, and community and customer service.

Two linen, uniform and facility services operators (Quintex Services, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and Unitex Healthcare Laundry Service, Elmsford, NY) have been heralded in video production, the newest Industry Awards category. Supplier partners to receive this award will be A1 American, Pacoima, CA; Ecolab Textile Care, St. Paul, MN; Infinite Laundry, Coral Springs, FL; and M&B Hangers, Leeds, AL.

In judging entries, TRSA Marketing & Sales Committee members rated the effectiveness of videos on how well they fulfill their intended purpose, whether purely informative, such as showcasing a company or its employees or products or services; or technical, describing capabilities, processes or product features as training for customers.

Best Plants of the Year honors (operators only) will go to Logan’s Healthcare Linen, Shelbyville, KY; and NOVO Health Services, Dubois, PA. Members of TRSA’s Production Summit and Maintenance Management Institute (MMI) task forces judged nominees based on their demonstration of how a local operation improves capabilities to supply, launder and maintain textiles for business customers, taking advantage of local resources to meet global challenges and deploy industrywide best practices.
