Robert W. Baird & Co. and TRSA recently released the June 2022 (Second-Quarter 2022) Uniform & Linen Rental Survey. The results noted rising revenues among survey respondents in the second quarter as well as a positive growth outlook among both uniform rental and linen rental operations.
On June 15, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced surprising new per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) drinking water health advisory levels. These new levels are significantly lower than current levels, even current laboratory detection limits.

Sigmatex-Lanier Textiles, New York, recently announced the untimely death of Raymond Farley Salmon IV, director of sales. Salmon, who recently was hospitalized with health issues, was 33 years old.
On June 30, Kevin Steiner will retire from his role as Co-CEO of Alsco Uniforms, Salt Lake City. Steiner will remain an Alsco employee, but without day-to-day responsibilities. He also will remain a member of Alsco’s Board of Directors and on Board Committees, according to a news release.
As part of TRSA’s Next-Generation Executives Committee meeting on June 15 in Chicago, 20-plus leaders of their companies toured the Roscoe Co. plant on the city’s west side. The business is now celebrating its 100th anniversary as a family-owned-and-operated independent industrial laundry.
