TRSA will host the Next-Generation Executives Workshop and Plant Tour on June 15 in Chicago. The program will include a dinner with the TRSA Strategic Planning Committee on Tuesday evening, June 14, followed the next day by a tour of the Roscoe Co. industrial laundry and a half-day workshop on Managing a Multi-Generational Workforce.
The TRSA Human Resources, and Marketing & Sales Committees recently announced plans to collaborate in developing a marketing-resource kit to aid HR and hiring managers in staff-recruitment efforts. These resources could include items such as a bilingual video that explains job descriptions, or social-media templates that members can customize to boost their respective outreach efforts on recruiting.

Laundry managers at all levels will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to manage plant operations successfully and efficiently as participants in TRSA’s 32nd Annual Roger F. Cocivera Professional Management Institute (PMI), hosted at the University of Maryland, August 7-11.
In the next few days, the May issue of Textile Services will arrive in laundry operator in-boxes and homes. A key topic for this month’s issue concerns the upcoming Clean Show and what new tax breaks or restrictions the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has implemented since the 2019 show in New Orleans. Last year’s Clean Show was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
