TRSA has partnered with several international linen, uniform and facility services industry associations to present a Dec. 9 webinar on gender and diversity in the industry. The 90-minute presentation, titled “Gender and Diversity in the Textile Care Industry: Let’s Have a Conversation,” will feature a panel of speakers to share what has happened, and what should be happening, with case studies and challenging topics that address the realities of the industry, and the path forward.

Bobby Floyd, CEO of HHS LLC, a privately held support services company, announced today its acquisition of Foussard Montague Associates Inc. (FMA), a laundry and linen management company. FMA founding owners, Phil Foussard and Tim Montague, will remain in their current roles as key leaders of the FMA organization, which will operate as an autonomous division under the HHS umbrella. The two companies expect the transaction to close on Dec. 1.
Crown Uniform and Linen, a uniform rental and linen service headquartered in Brockton, MA, recently announced the company’s expansion into new territory. Last month, the company expanded its business with 42 North Group in Poughkeepsie, NY, and Fishkill, NY, which acquired Arlington Dental Associates. Crown will now service dental uniforms for 42 North Group in both New York locations, in addition to its 81 other locations across New England, according to a news release.
