Washing Systems LLC (WSI), Loveland, OH, announced the appointment of Justin Hanks as the company’s new CEO, effective April 1. This transition comes as John Walroth steps into the role of executive chairman prior to his planned retirement.
Hanks, an integral part of WSI’s leadership team, most recently served as the vice president of operations for the past five years. Prior to joining WSI, Hanks worked for the Dow Chemical Co. for 18 years where his responsibilities steadily advanced in engineering, supply chain, operations and global business management. In his new role as CEO, Hanks will leverage his extensive experience and deep understanding of the company’s strategy and operations to drive its continued success and innovation.
“Justin has been a key driver of our operational excellence and growth, and he exemplifies our culture of innovation and serving others,” Walroth said. “We are super excited to have Justin and our proven leadership team moving the company forward to continued success.”
As part of the leadership transition, Walroth will remain with WSI in the role of executive chairman, working closely with Justin and the executive team to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing strategic guidance. A WSI executive for nearly 31 years, Walroth has led the company since 2018, during which time WSI achieved significant milestones and expanded its market presence. During his time at WSI, Walroth established the company as a leader in the commercial laundry industry through his vision and focus on customer service and sustainability.
