TRSA is launching two new important initiatives as part of the organization’s effort to educate policymakers, the healthcare community and the public on the value of hygienically clean reusable linens and textiles in healthcare. Specifically, there is …

The USA Today Partnership

The first important initiative is a new advertising partnership with USA Today. On March 28, an article sponsored by TRSA was inserted into 150,000 copies of USA Today nationwide. The article explains the “4 things patients and providers need to know” about hygienically clean healthcare linens and textiles, including their high quality, sustainability and safety – and that they are there when you need them, even during times of public health emergencies. It also links to TRSA’s Laundry Services website, where end users can search for Hygienically Clean certified laundries.

In addition to the print distribution, the article is posted on USA Today’s FutureofPersonalHealth.com website, and TRSA is working closely with USA Today’s advertising partners to make sure this compelling content is shared with the right healthcare decisionmakers.

The Webinar Series

In the coming weeks, TRSA will host the first in a series of webinars on hygienically clean textiles. Tailored for infection preventionists, healthcare decisionmakers and TRSA members, the free webinar series will help answer key questions about healthcare and hygienically clean laundry, including the pitfalls of laundering scrubs at home and how to properly handle linens and textiles in a healthcare setting. By registering for one webinar, you’ll be registered for all three:

• May 1: Mastering Laundry Inspections: A Best Practices Checklist for Infection Preventionists
• June 3: The Risks of Home Laundering Facility-Provided Scrubs
• July 10: Linen Handling Best Practices for Infection Control

Register & Invite Others: Register for the webinars using the links above and share this opportunity with your colleagues, customers and prospects!

“We are leveraging every opportunity possible to share the incredible value our members provide to frontline healthcare workers and patients,” said Amy Vogt, TRSA’s vice president for marketing & communications. “Industry experts have been featured in recent podcasts and news articles, and our digital efforts are moving the needle in this important conversation. All the facts point to the benefits of hygienically clean reusable linens and textiles, and we’re going to continue to tell that story on behalf of our members.”
