Diamond Chemical Co., East Rutherford, NJ, announced the recent passing of long-time team member and Vice President Tom Turick.
“Tom embodied everything we value in our culture,” said Harold Diamond, CEO. “His legacy is etched into the foundation of our organization. We are forever grateful for his leadership, friendship and the countless lives he touched.”
Turick, who passed away on the evening of March 17, joined the company on Aug. 18, 1986. He was active for many years in TRSA and UTSA, serving on the Environmental and Supplier Partner Committees.
The company said in a news release that, “With tremendous expertise and steadfast commitment, Tom helped shape not only the success of our company but also the character of our workplace. Throughout his career, Tom was a pillar of knowledge in our industry. His humility, kindness and unwavering dedication made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. Beyond his professional contributions, Tom was a mentor, a friend and a trusted adviser whose influence extended far beyond the office walls.”
Turick’s family has requested that his friends consider a donation to Tunnel 2 Towers in his memory.
