Cintas Corp., Mason, OH, has been named by FORTUNE as one of America’s Most Innovative Companies in 2025. This is Cintas’ inaugural appearance on the third edition of FORTUNE’s list.
This award recognizes organizations that lead the charge in fostering creativity, advancing technology and driving transformational change. “Innovation is central to our culture and has been part of our story since the seeds of our company were planted by our founders nearly a century ago,” said Todd Schneider, president and CEO of Cintas. “We have a spirit of positive discontent, which drives us to continually evolve and improve our products and services to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers. Through innovation, we strive to set the highest standards in our industry, and deliver exceptional products and services to our customers.”
FORTUNE and Statista selected America’s Most Innovative Companies 2025 based on the following criteria:
- Product Innovation: This comprises the regular introduction of new products or services and the regular improvement of existing products and services. The number and relevance of industrial property rights in the form of patents are also part of this criteria.
- Process Innovation: This refers to the development and use of new and innovative technologies and production processes as well as the innovative use of digitalization and the resulting opportunities.
- Innovation Culture: This measures to what extent a company fosters a spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity, encouraging their employees to take initiative and develop new ideas.
The 300 U.S. companies with the highest scores based on these three dimensions were then selected for the list of America’s Most Innovative Companies 2025. To read the full release, click here.
