National design-builder ARCO/Murray has completed a major expansion in suburban Chicago with the opening of a new 185,000-square-foot office at 3113 Woodcreek Drive in Downers Grove, IL. The new campus triples the company’s previous suburban footprint and reflects a strategic investment in both talent and long-term growth.
More than 200 employees across ARCO/Murray’s Tenant Solutions, Laundry, Process, Green Infrastructure, Sports & Entertainment and subcontracting teams have moved into the renovated space, which features a connected amenity building with a basketball court, golf simulator, fitness center and lounge – all designed to promote collaboration and well-being.
For Vice President Justin Hearld, who’s been with ARCO for the last 10 years, the new office represents something deeper than just added square footage.
“This space is a reflection of something ARCO has always believed in – taking care of our people,” he said. “That commitment to employee experience and long-term growth has been consistent since day one. It’s just evolved as we’ve grown.”
The firm now occupies nearly 220,000 square feet across four Chicagoland locations, including three new downtown offices that opened within the last two years.
The Downers Grove campus was intentionally designed to create an environment that supports both productivity and culture. In addition to flexible workspaces and collaboration zones, the new space includes a dedicated training center, outdoor patio access and a four-story covered parking garage for added convenience.
